Wofford College, a member of NCAA Division I Southern Conference, the Terriers field teams in eight sports for men and eight for women. In July and August, the campus is the setting for the annual training camp of the Carolina Panthers of the NFL. The Wofford Terriers were the SoCon Champs for 2003.
