Enjoy professional football "up close and personal." The NFL's Carolina Panthers roar into Spartanburg mid-July for summer training camp at Wofford College. Practice sessions are free and open to the public. Special events are planned each year in conjunction with the arrival of camp.

Wofford College, a member of NCAA Division I Southern Conference, the Terriers field teams in eight sports for men and eight for women. In July and August, the campus is the setting for the annual training camp of the Carolina Panthers of the NFL. The Wofford Terriers were the SoCon Champs for 2003.
