One of the country's premier American art museums, drawing visitors from around the globe to see the work world class artists Andrew Wyeth and Jasper Johns. Also see The Southern Collection, tracing the history of american art from Colonial times to the present. Opens at 11:00 Tu-Sa, 1:00 on Sundays. Galleries close at 5 except Th, when they're open until 8:00. Admission is always free.

The Milliken Art Gallery provides an exhibit space with visual access to exhibitions around the clock. During much of the year, the gallery is filled by the work of a wide variety of professional artists.  In addition to exhibiting, visiting artists present workshops and lectures that are open to the public. In April and May, the gallery displays exhibits by Converse students.

Clay becomes functional art at this unique studio gallery. Rob’s handmade creations range from aquariums to bathroom sinks and include a full range of functional pottery. His South Carolina Palmetto Plates have proved to be beautiful and popular. They have been used as gifts by our state government to visiting dignitaries. His studio/gallery is open to the public. Clemson University’s Lee Gallery provides the university and surrounding community access to regional, national and international artists. These exhibitions explore contemporary issues seeking to enhance academic programs and serve the broader mission of the university.
